XX Company supplied the full structural steel package for Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center in Hangzhou, China — a multi-thousand-ton scope spanning H-beams, channels, plates and built-up sections.
The project required strict dimensional tolerances and full mill certification. We sourced wide-flange sections directly from accredited mills and complemented the supply with locally fabricated plate components, finished in our Shanghai shop and shipped sea-freight to the destination port.
Scope of Supply
- 1,600 tons of W-shape wide-flange sections
- 500 tons of plate components, cut and beveled
- 180 tons of welded built-up box columns
- 120 tons of hollow structural tubing (HSS)
- Hot-dip galvanizing for all exterior steelwork
- Export packing and container-level loading manifests
Key Outcomes
All deliveries arrived on schedule with full Mill Test Certificates and compliance documentation. The project completed its fabrication phase ahead of the contractor’s master programme, with zero field-rework requests on connection details.
